Position Title: Project Coordinator
Our Saviour’s Community Services (OSCS) provides dignified shelter and housing for single adults and basic education classes to adult English language learners in the Phillips Community of South Minneapolis. OSCS takes its name from Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church, which founded our programs in the early 1980s. In 2004, we became a legally and financially independent nonprofit. The English Learning Center (ELC) is a program of Our Saviour’s Community Services and a part of the Minneapolis Public Schools Adult Basic Education Consortium. This Role:
The OSCS Project Coordinator supports the programming of the English Learning Center and other programs as necessary. This is a new role designed to support the continuity of all programs as the organization navigates new leave policies and known and anticipated staffing gaps.
This role is non-exempt, full-time, and scheduled at 32-40 hours per week during general office hours (9am-5pm) from Monday to Friday unless other hours are required by a specific assignment. This position reports to the ELC Program Director and works under additional oversight by other managers and directors as needed, depending on assignment.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
ELC (When not covering full-time work assignments for OSCS):
Manage internal processes for ELC volunteers, including documentation, compliance, and communication.
Maintain accurate ELC process and procedure documentation.
Provide periodic evaluation of ELC programming and progress toward programmatic, organizational, and consortium goals.
Collaborate and assist with ELC staff on issues, projects and day-to-day needs, including providing online and in-person class support as needed.
Participate in training, meetings, and conferences on housing, shelter, adult basic education, volunteer management and training, immigrant and refugee issues, and community needs.
OSCS:
Perform short- and long-term special assignments on behalf of OSCS depending on needs, including covering open positions due to extended leaves or staffing shortages, reviewing training manuals, planning events, helping develop new materials and processes.
Actively participate in building a culture of belonging within OSCS by centering equity in organizational and programmatic decision-making.

Ability to walk, bend, twist, stoop, reach, grip, push and pull equipment, and climb stairs as needed to perform essential job duties
Experience and Qualification Requirements
3+ years working in education or non-profit setting preferred.
1+ years management experience preferred.
Problem-solver and inclusive decision-maker able to help field and manage routine and non-routine challenges and circumstances.
Proficient with Google and Microsoft Suite.
Multilingual a plus.

Pay Rate: $25-$27, hourly
